Vista Entertainment Charity Golf Tournament - 12 noon, shotgun start - Sunday 31 August

A fundraising event for Variety - The Children's Charity and the Motion Picture Industry Benevolent Association (Queensland) Inc.

In 2008 Vista Entertainment Solutions will again host the Annual AIMC Charity Golf Tournament on Sunday 31 August at the Crowne Plaza Royal Pines Golf Resort & Spa with a shotgun tee off at 12 noon.  The style of golf will be Ambrose, and teams (four people per team) are encouraged to dress up and have fun for this great cause.

All monies raised from golf registrations will go directly to charity so the more registrations we get, the more money we can raise!

Registrations - AUD$80 per person (NZ$90 for NZ registrants).  Register as a single player or as a team.

Charity Golf Hole Sponsorship - AUD$750 per hole

Places are limited to 60 players and bookings close 20 August 2008.

TIM WARNER
President and Chief Operating Officer,
Cinemark USA, Inc.

Prior to his current position, Tim Warner was President of Cinemark International for over 10 years where he was responsible for leading Cinemark’s international growth efforts.

Headquartered in Plano, Texas, Cinemark is one of the leading exhibition companies in the world with operations in 12 international countries and 38 states in the United States. Cinemark operates 408 theatres and 4,665 screens. Cinemark’s International focus is primarily in Mexico, Central and South America.

Prior to joining Cinemark, Tim Warner was well-known throughout the industry as the CEO of NATO of California/ Nevada and the General Chairman of NATO/ ShoWest, the largest convention in the world devoted exclusively to all aspects of the motion picture industry. Tim Warner’s 1989-1995 reign saw NATO/ ShoWest evolve from a regional confab to a convention routinely converged upon by motion picture professionals from all over the world.

Tim Warner’s last visit to Australia was in 1994 where he addressed our delegates at the annual Movie Convention, and we know his experience gained internationally during the intervening years will offer a valuable insight into current industry trends.
