I am delighted to introduce you to the new AIMC Team, who will work with Terry and I to deliver AIMC 2017 from October 8-12 at the now completely refurbished Star Hotel & Casino on the Gold Coast.  There are some familiar faces, with one new - please note the team's new email addresses below.  We all look forward to seeing you at this year's Convention, and working with you in the lead-up.  Look out for our next eNews which will provide registration details.

Technology & IT Manager - Peter Puchner

----

A Senior Technical Producer with more than 30 years' experience, Peter works all over the world, producing and managing world-class systems and environments for a wide range of projects. With a background in electronic engineering, he has worked in cinema projection and presentations, electronics, event production, theme park and sports stadium projects, large outdoor displays, crowd control logistics and company and financial management.  He has designed, implemented and managed complex displays, electronic and mechanical systems, and his work encompasses engineering, audio-visual, creative, lighting, staging, production logistics, venue and talent management.  His passion is display technology. Peter has been working with film industry clients for 20 years to deliver events, and has been in charge of all things technical at the AIMC since 2010.

Results driven, extremely organised and highly respected in her field, Sonia is a senior PR and marketing professional with extensive experience working with media and within the entertainment industry, including most recently, sixteen years with Sony Pictures Australia. Communications & Events Manager - Di Campisi

----

Part of the AIMC team since 2011, Di has worked in the film industry for 25 years, predominantly as a publicist, including ten years with Paramount Pictures Australia. Her management of many high-profile talent tours and numerous red carpets, including two World Premieres at Sydney Opera House, has provided invaluable logistics experience and a wealth of stories she can never tell. She worked for Hayden Theatres for two years, spent seven years at the Seven Network where she worked on the Atlanta and Sydney Olympics and currently also works for Creative Content Australia. Ella Ogden - Administration & Events/Comms Support

Ella has worked in a variety of different areas within Film & TV, in roles including production manager, production coordinator, assistant producer and production assistant and has recently moved back from London, having worked in production there for 18 months. A graduate of  Edith Cowan University (Bachelor of Comms), Ella also has a Graduate Diploma in Broadcasting from WAAPA (WA Academy of Performing Arts) and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
