Australia’s greatest Dame will perform live and exclusive at the final night celebrations of the 67th Australian International Movie Convention at Jupiters Hotel & Casino on August 23.
Moonee Ponds’ legendary housewife will get the party started for delegates with an exclusive show - An Evening with Dame Edna - as the centrepiece of the 2012 AIMC Convention Wrap Presentation.
Iconic performer, satirist, artist and comedian Barry Humphries – whose internationally famous alter ego Dame Edna Everage is loved the world over - recently embarked on a farewell tour, “Eat Pray Laugh!” as a final bow to Australian audiences.
The AIMC 2012 Convention Wrap Presentation will take place from 6.30-7.30 pm in the Jupiters Theatre and will also feature two special award presentations:
- The Murray Forrest Award for Film Craft
- The Lifetime Achievement Award
