Vista 2011 Charity Golf Challenge - all for a good cause
For the golfing fans, don't forget the Vista 2011 Charity Golf Challenge on Sunday 21 August with tee off at 12noon at the Royal Pines Golf Course. Places are limited so get your team together for a fun start to a busy week...and it's all for a good cause with all proceeds going to charity. Murray, Brian and Matthew from Vista are looking forward to hosting this event for the 6th year.
This year we are adding a bit extra to the event. Thanks to Wilcox Golf we will have some star celebrity golfers to participate in the event. We currently have five confirmed, Wally Lewis (Rugby league legend), Paul Vautin (Rugby league great & Footy Show host), Braith Anasta (Roosters captain & former Australian & NSW rep), Karmichael Hunt (AFL Star & former Australian & QLD rep), Greg Bird (Titans player and current Australia & NSW rep) and there are more to come.
These stars of Australian sport will be circulating around the course and joining in to play holes with groups. This will give all groups a chance to rub shoulders with all of these stars during the day. All you have to do is register to play and you can have these stars play a hole with you and your team.
To make this year bigger and better we are also involving a limited number of golfers from some local Corporate teams. This will add to the challenge on the course and increase the amount of money raised for the charities - Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Motion Picture Industry Benevolent Association Queensland Inc. But don’t worry the coveted Tournament Shield will be competed for only amongst teams organised by AIMC delegates/participants.
Registration is AUD$95 per person (NZD$125 for NZ registrants). You can register as a single player or as a team. This tournament is limited to 80 players; registrations will be accepted in order of receipt; registration forms and payment must arrive by 12 August 2011.

Golf Hole Sponsorship Available
To help us increase the total funds raised, each golf hole is available for sponsorship. Your signage can be erected at the tee of the hole being sponsored.
